Here are "wooden mallet" and "mortar"that they would use for pounding rice. They were set to make the rice soft and soon be molded into rice cakes that they would eat later for lunch.
The teachers were the first ones to pound so it would be easier for the kids to do it.
One by one, they hammered it with the wooden mallet while the others cheered them.
"It's heavy...but I did it!"
The kids from the Monkey Team also did it.
