Setsubun (節分) is one of these traditional Japanese events. Setsubun involves a lot of bean eating and bean throwing to ward off evil spirits that bring disaster, misfortune and bad health and marks the end of winter.
The Panda Kids are excited as they come to the school and ready for the event today. We started our day with our morning circle. Then, we proceed to our event today which is the Bean-Throwing Festival.
The Panda Kids enjoyed wearing their own cutie crafty Monster Hat, they watch the Monster Story. After that, the Monster come to their rooms and they're having fun throwing the balls to the Monster.
Today was full of fun for the Panda Kids!
