This morning, the kids had some writing exercises with Dennie Sensei. Surprisingly, almost all are able to use the pencils well. Today, they traced zigzags and diamonds on their workbooks.
This month's theme is about Shapes; and so they made different shapes with their hands.
After them, the Bear Team followed. The also sat in the room and did some counting and coloring. This is very effective to learn the proper way of holding the pencils.
Each of them was guided by the teacher while they colored and counted the objects in every set. Later on, they gathered in circle to sing and dance together!
That morning, too, some of the Lion Team members visited Hisasue Ai-land. They had fun playing with the elderly. They danced hula that everybody liked so much.
