Busy Monday everyone, perfect for energetic kids today! As usual, they started their day with a morning circle. Today`s theme was a review of body parts and they did a very special experiment, the importance of washing our hands with soap.
Their teacher prepared three trays with water, then she sprinkled some pepper (represents the germs).
Then, they took turns dipping their pointing fingers on a smaller tray with water before dipping it to the tray with water and pepper. The pepper remained in the same place.
Then, they added soap on their fingers and dipped them on the dirty trays, and the pepper moved away.
This is because germs like to stick to the oil of our hands, and soap removes the oil. Without soap, the oil will not be removed, and germs find it easier to stick.
They all enjoyed today`s experiment. It was very informative and they definitely learned something out of it.
